JRP goes to Behavioural Insights Team

As you probably know, 2016 was a big year for the JRP. We had our first-ever 100% completion rate from a cohort, began a partnership with the most cited journal in psychology, and had over 30 young people contribute to the Insights for impact report in the internship. On the backs of the final achievement, Kai Ruggeri was invited to present at the Behavioural Insights Team in London to speak to fellows from the Centre for Science and Policy.  The event was attended by over 50 people from BIT and CSaP fellows, who are policymakers from across government and industry in the United Kingdom and beyond. The entire presentation focused on the work of the 2016 JRP Interns, which reflects one of the highest and most direct levels of impact in the history of the programme. All contributors from last year’s group were acknowledged multiple times, encouraging senior professionals to consider ways to engage early career researchers from psychology in making positive impact through their policies.
