Applications for Research Supervisors 2024/2025 open!

Theme

jSchool offers the chance to gain valuable experience in designing cross-cultural research in small groups. The event is a platform for early career researchers (PhD and PostDoc) to lead research in an international setting and in their field of interest, with the aim of producing meaningful insights suitable for publication in scientific journals.

Each year, several PhD students and postdocs are selected to join the Junior Researcher Programme as Research Supervisors, based on a research project they propose to carry out throughout the duration of the programme (13 months). Projects of successful Supervisors are then advertised to University students of all levels (from undergraduate to postgraduate) and from all nationalities, who can apply to join one of the projects as part of a research team.

Research Supervisors oversee their research team (Bachelor and Master students) for 13 months, from the start of the jSchool in July to the end of the Junior Researcher Programme Conference in August the following year. They will have support from the JRP Team throughout their journey.

The theme of this year’s jSchool will be: Economy of Well-Being: Harnessing Behavioral Science for Resilient Societies. More details on the topic and the role of Research Supervisor can be found in the 2024 Research Supervisor Application Guidance. And you can find more about the theme and venue for the jSchool here.

If you have any questions to ask, doubts to be cleared, or feedback to provide regarding the supervisor applications, theme, and selection process please email the Research Officer, Ms Elisabeth Sievert, at: researchofficer@pscholars.org.

Applications close on February 4th, 23:59 CET sharp.
