We are delighted to announce the release of the textbook Behavioral Insights for Public Policy: Concepts and cases (Routledge). This is the first edition of a textbook edited by our Director, Kai Ruggeri, with support from over 20 past and current JRP members. Other authors on this 12-chapter textbook come from a number of universities and institutions around the world, including the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Behavioural Insights Team in the Government of Canada, and the MDRC. The foreword is written by Prof Cass Sunstein, the Robert Walmsley University Professor at Harvard Law School, and coauthor of the bestselling book Nudge, which brought behavioural economics – and psychological science – into mainstream policymaking.
