jMeeting 2020 is coming up soon!

We are excited to announce that our next jMeeting will take place from 5th to 9th February, hosted at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain. There, our current cohort members will reunite and continue working on the research projects that were initiated at the 2019 jSchool.

Here is a quick overview of our teams’ research topics:

Dr Martina Benvenuti and her team explore the relationship between media use and sustainable consumption. Dr Tomas Folke and his group investigate correlations of temporal discounting rates in gains and losses within the same individuals. The team directed by Aleksandra Lazić is interested in vaccine hesitancy, and explores whether communicating social norms about vaccination can increase vaccine uptake. Dr Tsvetelina Panchelieva and her group explore how managers make organizational decisions. Dr Nikolay Rachev and his team investigate key factors that may predict individual differences in open-minded thinking, cognitive reflection, and the tendency to uncritically accept meaningless statements. The team supervised by Dr Irena Domachowska explores if people with limited willpower beliefs are less satisfied with their efforts.

An overview over all 2019-20 projects can be found here.

We are already looking forward to the results that our teams will generate, and thank all of our partners and the UFV for making the event possible.
