jMeeting 2026 (16-20 February) started in Vienna, with a group of Junior Researchers, Supervisors, and Alumni collaborating, exchanging, and developing scientifically throughout the week. This year’s meeting opened at the University of Vienna, where participants joined the 5th PhD Academy – VDS CoBeNe Annual Doctoral Conference.

A key highlight of the first day was the Poster Session on 16 February, in which the Junior Researchers and Supervisors were able to present their JRP projects, as well as the research they have been carrying out in their home institutions. The poster session was an opportunity to exchange ideas, get feedback, and interact with the rest of the academic community. We are very proud of our talented participants and invite everyone to join us applauding their work.

Besides the events of the conference, teams of the Cohort 2025-26 are also attending this period to advance further their projects face-to-face under the advice of their Supervisors: Yliana V. Rodríguez, Markus Tünte, Leopold Roth, Kristof Keidel, Katarzyna Miazek, Dilan Yücel, and David Grüning. These in-person meetings allow teams to strengthen their collaboration and make important progress on their research.
