Today marks a special day for the programme and the 2019-2020 cohort. As we are putting on our best blue and white clothes to hear all about their hard work and progress made since we met them for the first time at the jSchool 2019 in Siena, we are also looking forward to welcoming the cohort to our circle of alumni.

While we are, of course, saddened that we cannot welcome the cohort to Cambridge in person, we are all the more proud of our Junior Researchers and Supervisors who continued to push their projects despite the limitations of the pandemic. The JRP Team is extremely excited about the presentations the six teams have prepared and we are looking forward to engaging debates, which will continue on Saturday when we will welcome six Alumni for a panel discussion and introduce an exciting new feature to the programme – the Mentor System (more to follow soon)!

The 2020 Conference will start on the 21st August at 14.00 London time and feature six presentations, each by one research group of the current cohort and an audience of more than 80 (!) registered participants.
