Interns from the 2018-2019 JRP cohort have just completed their work on a global decision-making study. In response to both the push for greater reproducibility in behavioural sciences, as well as a recent debate related to loss aversion, the group attempted to replicate Kahneman and Tversky’s 1979 method for Prospect Theory. In doing so, they recruited over 4,000 people in 19 countries, covering 13 languages. The preprint of this work is now available via the Open Science Framework Preprint repository.
More information on this work will be shared at a later date, including an extensive set of supplementary materials and data. Congratulations to all 31 researchers involved on the tremendous outcome of this gargantuan undertaking.
