JRP Internship 2020 begins

Editor’s note: Applications for jSchool 2025 are closed.

The JRP is excited to announce that this years’ internship has started with a kick-off meeting last Thursday, the 23rd of July!

After the success of last year’s large scale replication of Kahneman and Tversky’s foundational work on Prospect Theory—which was recently published in Nature Human Behaviour—the current internship will again focus on a big international collaboration in an effort to further investigate insights gained from a 2019 study.

The 2020 internship is special in many ways. It is the first time in which we are thrilled to welcome 15 interns from Columbia University to the team, who will join us as part of the GLOBES programme. Likewise, we are happy to report that multiple alumni are supporting all interns with the project, uniting JRP members across a variety of cohorts.

Lastly, with the COVID pandemic still posing a large risk, this is the first time we are running the internship remotely – including timezones from Hawaii through New York, through all of Europe, to Turkey. As a programme, we are extremely proud to have developed to a stage in which we are are fully prepared to take on such a challenge with a team of such incredibly talented and enthusiastic interns and collaborators and look forward to a month of truly global collaboration.

Did we make you curious about what the interns are working on? Stay tuned for more updates and hints!
