jSchool 2019 Guest Speaker: Dr Caterina Suitner
After her insightful lecture at the 2018 jSchool, it is a pleasure to invite back Dr Caterina Suitner to this year’s summer school held in Siena.
This year, Caterina will be the official Scientific Chair of the jSchool’s Open Conference. Caterina is currently a Social Psychology Assistant Professor and PhD Supervisor at the University of Padova, and was visiting Professor in 2017 at the New School for Social Research in New York, teaching students Psychology and Social Policy. Additionally, she was a visiting researcher at New York University in the last winter. She is specialised in a multitude of psychology-specific fields, including social influence, cross-cultural psychology, pervasive and informative communication, perception, language and social cognition.
Caterina is currently an associate member of the European Association of Social Psychology, as well as a reviewer for journals in her field of research.
The Open Conference will be held on the 3rd July 2019 at the jSchool venue, Certosa di Pontignano (Siena), and will be open to all students and professors who wish to attend, whether they come from Italy or other countries.
