We are constantly amazed by the wonderful early career researchers that choose to participate in the JRP. While many go on to pursue doctoral research at institutions around the world, sometimes a few end up in the same place. However, this time is particularly unique: Maja Friedemann (Germany) and Sarah Ashcroft-Jones (Ireland), both part of the current 2018-19 JRP cohort will be undertaking their doctoral research in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof Nick Yeung, a world-renowned cognitive neuroscientist. We wish Sarah and Maja all the best in their journey, knowing they’ll make the JRP and all their past institutions proud. Congrats!
