Matija Franklin, JRP 2016-2017

Editor’s note: Applications for jSchool 2025 are closed.

Allow us to introduce Matija Franklin.

His team is testing an online behavioural change intervention called voluntary simplicity, which can be described as a lifestyle choice of reduced consumption and sustainable consumer behaviour. This project is led by Atar Herziger, from the University of Cologne, Germany. Matija explains his contribution towards this exciting project:

“As Dissemination Lead, my main role is getting myself, and my team informed about the process of writing and publishing our protocol in Frontiers in Psychology (FiPs). If our current protocol gets recognition from FiPs I plan on finding and applying for conferences and gatherings where our team members can present what we are working on. My main goal is to try to get our findings published, once we have completed our study. I find this role insightful, because it has taught me about the technicalities and details of writing an article that fits the standards of a publication.”
