Junior Researchers
Each year, University students from all over the world are selected to join the Junior Researcher Programme and work on a project as part of a research team for 13 months. As students, they must attend the initial one-week event, the jSchool, in July and present their projects after 13 months at the final event, the Junior Researcher Programme Conference.
We expect all students to be highly motivated, interested in conducting a cross-cultural research project, and contribute to the project execution and completion with their team for the entire 13-month timeframe.
Once their journey is completed, they will join the JRP Alumni Network, where they can keep in touch with researchers of previous cohorts.
Research Supervisors
Becoming a JRP Research Supervisor provides you with a unique opportunity for academic and personal development. Supervisors are given the chance to lead a group of around six bright, talented, and motivated international psychology students in designing and conducting a cross-cultural research project of their choosing related to the annual theme.
Applications for research supervisors are typically open in January each year. Follow our news here on the site and on social media for updates.
JRP Alumni Network
The JRP Alumni Network is extensive and includes people with diverse backgrounds, all united by their love for research.
We are committed to providing opportunities for promoting the exchange of knowledge as well as appreciating the expertise and accomplishments of the Alumni Network.
JRP Alumni are invited to participate in selected events and collaborations.
JRP Team
The JRP Team is a group of passionate people who runs the programme. It consist of directors and team members.
The team has numerous positions with various tasks and development opportunities available, reaching from scientific affairs, over finance, public relations and engagement, up to administration and team management.
Applications for the JRP Team are open around September each year.
