The end of an exciting JRP year

We are ending the JRP year with great news – our 2019-20 cohort has officially joined our circle of alumni this weekend! Despite the restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic, our teams continued to work hard on their research projects throughout the year, and the 2020 JRP Conference was a pure success – we were impressed by the quality of the teams’ presentations and their motivation and dedication!

How it all began: The start of six exciting research projects

The cohort’s journey started in Tuscany, where the six research projects were initiated by the JRP research teams. Earlier this year, part of the cohort met in Madrid for the jMeeting, continuing their project work and had some time to catch up with other junior researchers. Despite the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the teams continued working hard on preparing registered reports, pre-registrations and presentations throughout the year.

An exciting end to a great year: the JRP Conference 2020

This weekend, we got the chance to see the final results of this hard work, when our six research teams presented their projects at the 2020 JRP Conference! On day 2 of the conference, six JRP Alumni, each from a different cohort, shared recommendations and experience from their own research journeys in an exciting panel discussion. This was an important and successful event which marks the start of stronger integration and more upcoming opportunities for our Alumni starting this year.

Congratulations to the 2019-2020 cohort for all your hard work and dedication, and welcome to our group of alumni! We are excited to follow up your research journeys and are thrilled to see how your projects develop!
