The new JRP cohort 2022-2023

We are proud to present the new JRP cohort who completed jSchool 2022 last month.

Under the umbrella of this year’s topic “Sustainability: How Psychology can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals”, six different research groups started to work on their projects in La Certosa di Pontignano near Siena, Italy – an event made even more special as it marked the programme’s return to in-person events.

The event was attended by 38 students from around the world and six PhD students and postdocs as supervisors. Over the next 13 months, teams will carry out their projects and then present their progress at the two-day annual JRP conference in August 2023.

The programme of jSchool also included the Open Conference, where event participants and guests presented posters on other current research projects. We are also thankful to Maria Sansoni for an interactive showcasing of how Virtual reality technology can be used to enhance well-being; as well as 2020-21 Supervisor Ann Skinner, who shared her experiences of leading a global JRP Research Team while most of the world was in lockdown.

We would like to extend our thanks to all participants who made this event unforgettable. We specifically would like to thank our jSchool Director Matilde Boccanera, who, supported by the jSchool Team, brought the event back to Siena after leading two online versions of the event and continued to exceed our expectations in bringing people together and creating a unique and often life-changing experience.
